Hello, friends – – –
I was recently interviewed by journalist Melissa Malamut, who asked me all sorts of questions about my infamous caffeine intake.
The resulting piece — published in New York Magazine’s Grub Street section — is out now.
I hope you peruse the interview when you get a chance — with a cup of coffee, of course.
Whisper: you can always buy me a coffee, too.
Have a great day, friends.

Read the article. I liked referring to having coffee while writing as a ‘writer’s superstition”. I agree and acknowledge it to the degree that I have to have a cup of coffee near me when writing. However I feel good at that, For me, just having it near helps. I don’t feel the need to actually drink it. I wish I could but in my case, the trips to the bathroom would severely curtail the writing productivity. Keep it up…Thanks!
Thanks for reading, friend. Cheers ☕
Yes, it’s weirdly true McDonald’s has good coffee. I keep my intake to about 3 cups a day but would gladly do more if I thought my heart could take it.
