(Re)Introducing … Mr. Penny

Long, long ago (in 2010), I wrote a series of stories about a damaged and enigmatic man known only as Mr. Penny. Those stories can all be found in my first short fiction collection, God’s Autobio, a book read by no one.

Very, very recently (in 2015), I wrote a few new Mr. Penny stories. Who can say why? These will be published throughout December by The Walrus, a magazine read by a great many people.

The first of the new Mr. Penny Stories, “Mr. Penny Sees Red,” the best one to date, I’d say, is now live. Read it here. And do let me know what you think of it…

Dear Readers…

If you’ve enjoyed the short stories, flash fictions, cartoons and drawings I’ve been doing for The Walrus,  why not let the editors know? It’ll help ensure I can write and draw you more and more and more…

Send a quick note to letters@thewalrus.ca. Or a tweet to @walrusmagazine or a facebook message.

I would be so grateful.
