Short Circuit

The final issue of one of my favorite magazines, Short Circuit, is out today.

A bittersweet moment, but I’m happy to have two pieces in it.

I was drunk on
sauvignon

writing
triolets

my note-
pad slanting
to catch
the lamp-
light

For a moment
closing
my eyes

I woke
as the dawn
was putting on
its clothes
